44 thousand population in Kathmandu followed by Morang with 9 lakh 65 thousand, Rupandehi with 8 lakh 80 thousand, Jhapa with 8 lakh 12 thousand, Kailali with 7 lakh 75 thousand. Kathmandu cover area of only 45.9 Km per square which accommodates almost 4 lakh household of Nepal whereas other district such as Sarlahi, Rupandehi, Jhapa areas which expands above 1000 km per square but accommodate less than 10 lakh household. This proves than Kathmandu is more densely populated area of Nepal.
40 district has female population is more than male population remaining 35 district have male population more than female. Kathmandu being densely populated area and capital city of Nepal has less female than male population because male population all over Nepal seeks employment in capital city. Because Kathmandu have facility, infrastructure and platform for employment most people seeks employment in Kathmandu.
Manang has lowest rate of female population than polyandry marriage is popular in that area. Where Arghakhanchi, have more female population than male population.
The ratio of household to population is highest in Rautahaut 6.44 people live in a home followed by Bara in ratio of 6.33 and Parsa and Kapilvastu has 6.2 ratio of household accommodation. And Kaski have lowest household accommodation ratio of 3.92.
Dolpa being biggest district of Nepal has population of 36 thousand populations which accommodates only 7488 household. However Kathmandu, being one of the smallest districts accommodates 4 lakh household and 17 lakh population of Nepal.
Nepal lacks even development all over Nepal and also lacks infrastructure and opportunity so people seeks employment and other facility from capital city. If we could develop remotest part of Nepal and provide platform to utilize their skills then they won’t seeks foreign nor domestic employment.
